LEADERSHIP
The Leadership at Living Hope Bible Church is made up of biblical elders who are recognised as meeting the qualifications as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:5-16.
ELDERS
Our Elders and Pastors are dedicated servants of God, committed to guiding our congregation in faith, love, and spiritual growth.
Denver Solomon
Pastor/Teacher
Denver has a Bachelor's Degree in Bible and Theology from the Bible Institute of South Africa, and a Master's of Divinity degree from The Master's Seminary (TMS).
He interned under his Hebrew Professor, Dr Bryan Murphy, for three years. While in the USA both he and his wife, faithfully served at Roosevelt Community Church.
They return to Living Hope Bible Church in July of 2019, where they now continue to exalt Christ and serve the local church. Denver is married to Gaenor and has two boys, Aaron and Joshua.
Don Sayers
Elder
Don Sayers is a Canadian missionary who also serves as the Director of African Hope Trust, an orphan and vulnerable children's safe house ministry.
Don serves as an in-country representative for Emmanuel International and is one of the elders at LHBC. He has been an elder for 8 years.
He is a faithful teacher of the word and regularly preaches on Sunday mornings. Don is married to Rachel and has three children; Danielle, Hudson and Nate.
Peter Byne
Elder
Peter Byne has been an elder at LHBC for more than 8 years. He is a faithful preacher and teacher of the word.
He preachers once a month and has demonstrated the ability to rightly divide the word of truth. Peter is married to Dorothy Byne.
DEACONS
Our Deacons play a vital role in the ministry of Living Hope Bible Church. They serve with humility and dedication, assisting our leadership and congregation in various ways. Each Deacon is a servant-leader who embodies the spirit of 1 Peter 4:10, "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace."
